Together with the Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development (HBOR), we have launched the CROGIP II investment programme with €52 million resources in support of fast-growing SMEs, small mid-caps and mid-caps established and operating in Croatia.
The EIF and HBOR have each committed €26 million to finance this jointly developed programme, which is expected to catalyse additional private-sector investments into the equity funds backed by this programme. A key objective is to support emerging fund managers devoting a significant part of their investments to Croatian companies.
HBOR’s commitment is financed through the Recovery and Resilience Facility within the NextGenerationEU initiative accordance with the National Recovery and Resilience Plan 2021-2026 (NRRP).
The CROGIP II programme is an important new milestone in the EIF's work supporting the development of the Croatian VC/PE ecosystem. It provides continuity and complements previous programmes, showing our commitment to the local market.
Under this call for expression of interest, the EIF intends to select one or more Financial Intermediaries, based on our standard process including due diligence. Please consult the Call for Expression documents and the eligibility criteria in further depth before applying.
Applications (and clarification questions) must be sent solely by email to the CROGIP II team here
The EIF will publish on this page the answers to all requests for clarifications received within the above-mentioned deadline.
