In July 2021, after a joint agreement among SID Banka, HBOR and the EIF, the scope of our SEGIP and CROGIP mandates has been expanded to include the support for business applications of Slovene and Croatian academic research via a commitment to a technology transfer fund operating in the two countries.
The resulting joint initiative is the first investment programme under the Central and Eastern European Technology Transfer (CEETT) initiative, to which SID Banka contributed an additional EUR 10 million to SEGIP, HBOR contributed additional EUR 10m to CROGIP and the EIF made further EUR 20m available for investment. Thus, the total available funding amount indicatively represents EUR 40 million.
Under the call for expression of interest here below, the EIF will select one financial intermediary for the CEETT programme. Eligible applicants are requested to comply with the detailed eligibility criteria included in the documentation and submit their expression of interest based on the requirements by 29 October 2021 at the latest.
