Online learning is a growing industry, with an increasing number of organizations opting to educate and train through digital platforms. Companies require increasingly flexible solutions to train their staff with efficiency and ease of use, in a complex business environment. Founded in 2010, 360Learning is a company on a mission to rethink e-learning and make digital training an uplifting collective adventure.
In order to achieve this, 360Learning provides innovative technology solutions that enable the client companies to design their own tailor-made training courses. With a friendly user interface for both trainers and learners and various support tools, the platform is easily integrated with existing structures in the client organization.
As Nicolas Hernandez, co-founder of 360Learning, explains “we help companies manage their culture and performance through learning”. Thanks to its product, but also permanent feedback and personalized support, 360Learning tries to transform companies into learning organizations.
After initially struggling to establish its business model, the company found the support it needed through 3TCapital, a venture capital fund backed by EIF that focuses on helping innovative companies within the ICT sector in their seed and early-stage phases.
“Without the investment, there wouldn’t be a company”, says Nicolas, noting that the support extended well beyond the financing: “I had them on the phone quite often, offering business advice. They also helped with networking, and it clearly made a difference – no doubt about it.”
The investment from 3TCapital allowed the company to grow from the initial 3 founders to currently employing 60 people, with over 300 clients including SNCF, Nespresso and Samsung, spread over more than 120 countries and thousands of tailored courses created every month.
