EU Finance Day for small and medium enterprises

The purpose of the "EU Finance Day for SMEs" taking place in Rome is to provide an overview of the new EU financial instruments for the period 2014-2020, particularly COSME (Programme for the Competitiveness of Enterprises and SMEs) and the Horizon 2020, with a particular focus on SMEs.

COSME will enhance access to loan finance for SMEs and - together with other EU programs - will help to fill the financial gaps in the market aiming at restoring the competitiveness of the European economy.

Improving access to alternative sources of financing for businesses will also be addressed during the conference.
