Our internships

Internships at the EIF offer a unique opportunity to learn more about what we mean by working for a purpose. Every year we offer internships across the EIF’s different business areas, from strategy to business- and mandate development, equity investments, marketing, human resources, and more.

Internships at EIF are oriented toward project-based learning, offering our interns valuable hands-on experience under the guidance and supervision of more senior staff members. Internships mostly take place at our Luxembourg headquarters and typically have a duration of five months. Throughout this period, our interns engage in tailored projects and immerse themselves in the day-to-day operations of the organisation.

Interns receive a monthly allowance (with the provision that they are not already receiving comparable compensation from another EU body or institution) and reimbursement for round-trip travel to and from the EIF.
