Technology Transfer Accelerator Türkiye (TTA)

The Technology Transfer Accelerator Türkiye (TTA Türkiye) - an initiative managed by EIF - aims to commercialise applied research from universities and scale up the technology transfer market in Türkiye, with a particular focus on spill-overs to the country’s less developed regions.

Launched in 2014, TTA was designed by EIF in cooperation with the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology (MoSIT), the Scientific and Research Council of Türkiye (TUBITAK), the Delegation of the European Union to Türkiyey and the DG Regional Policy of the European Commission. TTA Türkiye is co-financed by the EU and the Republic of Türkiye under the regional development component of the country's Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA) funds. The Regional Development Component of IPA is managed by MoSIT.

TTA Türkiye was greeted with high demand from the market, which has led to the full allocation of the resources available to the selected fund management companies. These resources have been made available to fund managers via a competitive process and through open call for expression of interest (see details below) launched by EIF.

The budget for the Advisory Services and Networking component under TTA Türkiye has been fully allocated following a restricted procedure at the Official Journal of the European Union to select the most appropriate Consultant(s).
