EIF, NRW.BANK, the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi) and LfA launch Fund-of-Funds to benefit mid-caps in Germany

The European Investment Fund (EIF), the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi), LfA Förderbank Bayern (LfA) and NRW.BANK have launched a joint Fund-of-Funds: the Mezzanine Fund-of-Fund for Germany („Mezzanin-Dachfonds für Deutschland“ - MDD).

This new facility will enhance the access of German mid-caps to finance in order to facilitate their growth and expansion. BMWi, NRW.Bank and LfA provide a total investment amount of EUR 100 million; the EIF matches their investments with the same amount.
